| Job summary |
The stressors in peoples' lives don't always fall into neatly-defined
categories. Therefore, we offer Advantage Resource & Referral to surround our
clients with support for everything from dependent care to pet care. The Role of
a R&R consultant is getting quality information quickly. To join our R&R
department applicant must be task oriented, a self starter, and resourceful with
a pleasant phone personality while able to meet deadlines. Background in geriatrics,
child care, counseling, paralegal, or social work is helpful. Strong internet skills
are a must. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Computer skills and Bachelors degree
required. |
| Essential job functions |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess the client?s needs through phone consultation
Research and find verified referrals that meet the client's needs in the following
areas: dependent child and elder care referrals, legal referrals, Back-up care,
education, adoption, community services.
Ensure all case management entries are complete and accurate, including spelling
and grammar.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills providing the caller with a friendly,
enthusiastic, and empathetic consultant.

| Minimum requirements |
Motivation to exceed member's needs and expectations
Creativity, confidence, a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative
approach to both the callers and team members
Task oriented, a self starter, and resourceful with a pleasant
phone personality while able to meet deadlines.
Background in geriatrics, child care, counseling, paralegal,
or social work is helpful
Strong internet skills are a must |
| Education |
BA Degree or 3-5 years experience in child care, geriatrics,
legal, social work, or other related field. |
Languages &
Mathematical Skills |
Excellent written and oral communication skills, basic math skills.
Bilingual Eng\Span preferred however all candidates must be fluent in English. |
